This single coil pickup carries a very dry and warm sound. It is clear, precise, percussive and produces a wide frequency range of wonderful dynamic feel. Perfect for studio recordings with a 50’s style vintage touch.

We had to research quite a bit to get exactly to the place we wanted with this model. It is not a simple task to design a true vintage model that fits into our modern and digital world.

We’ve studied many products like the Fat 50’s before we got back to the drawing board. We designed a product that will reflect a “dry” and “warm” feeling that is characterised with the older musical era, and spiced it up with some nice mid-range boost for good balance.

    Choose Flat for guitars with fretboard radius of 9.5" or above. Choose Staggered for guitars with fretboard radius 7.25". Contact us for Left-Handed staggered option.

    Choose "0" for original setting, "+5%" for higher output, warmer and darker tone, "-5%" for lower output, brighter and crispier tone.

    RW/RP preduces a hum-canceling effect in a combination of two pickups, but reduces mid-range frequencies.

    Wax Potting is done to prevent microphonic feedback. Unpotted pickup may produce feedback but have vintage like qualities and a brighter tone.
